Bio

I am a systems engineer for a large aerospace company. My career has primarily been in the systems verification and validation testing of software-based electronic embedded control systems using real-time Linux. I have supported and developed multiple test setups for system level validation of DO-178B certified software. I have experience testing electro-mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, writing procedures, and doing some project management. I also have experience with MATLAB, MATRIXx, and LabVIEW toolsets. My latest assignment is to combine models and sub-component models together to help with development of a gas turbine engine control system.

Because of intellectual property concerns, I am no longer available to work on other engineering projects. I do advise on free software projects and am available to help non-profits with computer technology.

Current areas of interest include:

Pro Bono Consulting

I do a limited amount of consulting work for free or reduced rates with smaller Christian churches and ministries that lack members with expertise in this field. If you are looking for help with computers or need specialized applications, please contact me. I may be able to help.
